What are we DOING at YN SUMMIT?
BE the CHANGE in L.A.! Join YouthNoise and our community partners, to speak out on issues surrounding your schools and education. It’s your RIGHT TO LEARN. (www.RightToLearnCA.org)
We’ll be doing lots of different activities from 11-5, from spectrograms to custom t-shirts to group project planning but most importantly, it’s an open space to express yourself in the best way possible. We’ll be infusing the day with a variety of activities and performances of young talent. This is a chance to meet new youth, and to go from the ‘big issues’ to finding exactly what place you have in changing it. We’ll start the day with big picture issues surrounding schools and education and end it with creating projects that will benefit our schools and communities.
What type of support will there be? YouthNoise and its partners will provide a platform for both online and offline support provided to help plan, develop, promote, and fund real grassroots civic action. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
BUT it’s also about fun and creativity. We’ll have breaks for artistic experiences, music and networking. This unique, creative and high energy opportunity should not to be missed.

Partnership Profile for J.U.i.C.E
J.U.i.C.E- A non-profit weekly hip hop arts program that seeks to develop youth leadership and technical skills, creative expression and self-confidence through the artistic elements of hip hop which include breakdancing, urban art, deejaying, emceeing/spoken word and music recording.
Justice by Uniting In Creative Energy (J.U.i.C.E.) was founded in 2001 in the Rampart District of Los Angeles. They are a non-profit hip hop collective that meets every Thursday from 4pm – 9pm at 2936 W 8th St in Los Angeles, CA 90005.
