While the following itinerary lays out a block schedule of activities, all program visits and meals are centered around creating opportunity for conversations and/or exchanges with women in leadership positions with Government, Academia, Business, Save the Children and other international and local non-governmental organizations.

Round table discussions with women leaders/activists in Addis Ababa
Dinner with senior management team

Morning R&R
Program visit to HIV/AIDS projects in and near Addis - "Nazareth High Risk Corridor"
Traditional Ethiopian dinner event

Visit to southern rural Ethiopia/Woliso District
Interaction with community leaders
(Overnight in Woliso District, Ethiopia)
Monday, September 20
Program visits -- Health & School Projects
Rural market visits & interaction with businesswomen
Return to Addis
Dinner with USAID and U.S. Embassy representatives

Tuesday, September 21
AM Wrap up and debriefing session with Ethiopia senior management team
PM Depart for Uganda
(Overnight in Kampala, Uganda)

Wednesday, September 22
AM briefing and field office orientation
Meetings with USAID representative and with U.S. Ambassador to Uganda
Lunch with USAID and U.S. Embassy representatives
Visit to local organizations in Kampala
PM Depart for Nakasongola District
Traditional Ugandan dinner & program with local leaders
