Each year we all go out and ask people to sponsor us to not eat for 30 hours to represent how children in Africa live each day. 2900 children die each day from starvation and malnutrition. During the fast all of the participants come to the church and turn in our donations. Then we join together in worship and prayer and play games. I did a lot of volunteer work so we were told we could have crackers to keep us from faintin but this truly is a hard experience especially if ur working. Even though we're starving at some points we just keep on thinking that there's someone out there who is more hungry than we are and the difference is that we chose not to eat and they have no choice.
