Submitted By: Website: www.hoonahschools.org Submitted on: 06/30/2009 Goals: Build a youth coalition dedicated to national and international youth exchanges designed specifically to incorporate the Foster, Homeless, and Adjudicated youth populations.Objectives: Establish a network of residential "Academies" that will allow for the Foster, Homeless, and Adjudicated populations to gain access to and participate in the variety of positive, life-changing activities that they are for the most part denied under current conditions. These "Academies" will also allow the youth to participate in exchanges both national and international as they experience authentic and purposeful education.Causes: |

Equipment: Currently we are looking to purchase a large B&B in order to operate it as the self-sustaining piece of the local residential site and foundation for the exchange coalition. Other: People with energy and dedication to this youth population that can and will establish with us residential centers that are self-sustaining businesses and serve as partners in the exchange network. |
