LAEX Tackles the Santa Ynez Mountains!Posted by: activateyourself on 01/05/09 Hey guys! So our first adventure up in the Santa Ynez Canyon was awesome! We had a tightly knit crew which was definitely needed to tackle all the obstacles we were faced with. Some a bit timid at first, a few professionals and some trusting individuals all helped out to get the whole group to the top and back in one piece. Putting on our adventure shoes we traveled a bit off path, above and beyond the call of the duty to get our hands dirty, we didn't stop climbing until we felt we had reached the highest plateau allowing us to see the beautiful coastline. We jumped over river beds, bouldered from rock to rock, descended 20ft wall faces (rope in hand of course) and witnessed amazing crevasses with traces of waterfalls and some fun creatures. All of this to get out for the day and EXperience all that LA has to offer!Comments (0) |
