Goals:
Objectives: 1. Fundraising efforts are crucial to our success. Given our previous work, we can roughly estimate that $5,000 can sponsor the implementation process in a rural region with about 6,000-8,000 people. 2. Our second goal is to give all households access to large, family-size charcoal and fabric filters. 3. The provision of hand held filters to schoolchildren is our third goal. We teach students to make their own filters using materials from their homes.
Causes: Environmental Illnesses

PROJECT PROCESS

Project Reflections & Outcomes

Project Needs

other people to join the cause/event/boycott
someone to help with fundraising
someone with specific expertise in this project's focus area
someone with good administrative skills

Other needs:

Equipment: Basic materials used for building the homemade filters. This includes buckets, fabric, jerrycans, and other items.
Other: We would like to further research filtration properties of the homemade filters. To do this we would need the oversight and advice of professionals and access to a laboratory.
