Submitted on: 10/04/2008 Goals: TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD. This will prevent contraction of diseases, help with farming and agriculture, positively affect education, and contribute to the overall health of the community, which will supply a stronger, healthier and more capable work force, and this, in turn, will affect the overall economy of the country.Objectives: *Hold fundraiser in October to raise money for recent water well in Tanzania. *Help YN hold fundraiser in NY on Nov 15th to raise money and awareness *Hold a Quiksilver sponsored fundraiser in March *Help promote the QSW eco-friendly line that supports and benefits the cause *Sell T-shirts and dogtags online *Update website *Drill at least 2 more clean water wells next summer *Find an intern *Get corporate sponsorshipCauses: |
