 Goals: To participate in comunity service projects that respond to the most pressing needs in the areas of the environment, education, publicsafety/homeland security, unmet human needs, and disaster relief. Budget:Staffing $0 - $1000Materials $0 - $1000 Travel $0 - $1000 Communication $0 - $1000 Internet $0 - $1000 Marketing $0 - $1000 Misc $0 - $1000 PROJECT PROCESS We are continuously looking for national residence to join our program and be sent off on project rounds in teams around the country. Project Reflections & Outcomes During your term of service you will be housed, fed, and all travel will be taken care of, you will also get a small living stipend, and some health care benefits. You will gain many news skills, and will learn more about how to ask a community what their needs are rather than use telling them. When the 10 months are completed, you are eligible for an education award of $4,795, which can be used for many educational purposes. Project Needs volunteers to help promote the event/project other people to join the cause/event/boycott Other needs:Equipment: People age 18-24 willing to commit 10 months to working around the country helping out communities with needs. |
