Goals: My goals for this group is that we can raise a better awareness of the suffering of animals in labs. In my area there are few animal rights groups and I would love to bring those of the cause together. I hope that Lab Rat Liberation will become more then just a hometown group of teens wanting to make a difference into a community of people who care not only about lab animals but those in factory farms and slaughter houses. I hope that this group will no longer be a two man battle against animal cruelty in my area.
Objectives: Right now we need paying and non paying members. Outside of that, I hope to achieve a sucessful meeting with our state representitive. Convince the resturants in our area to concieve a better menue for those who are vegetarian and vegan. www.freewebs.com/labrat_liberation07 thats our website

PROJECT PROCESS
First, I have the funding issue of this being, thus far, a two person group. I began this group when I was in highschool but our principle never really approved it. So thats the reason why Lab Rat Liberation doesnt really have members. I need help in getting the financial part of this group in order as well as putting together and producing our own leaflets, t-shirts and things such as that.

Project Reflections & Outcomes
So far I gathered a couple friends and passed out anti KFC leaflets at our local KFC. Sadly enough people in our little town laughed at it but that hasnt stopped us from continuing it. I took my neices and went to the mall and handed out leaflets there and successfully convinced three people to not shop at Maceys when they were selling real fur. I believe these things would have succeeded more
