First Ever Sillywalk for Hunger!

Posted by:OakleyAM on November 21, 2009 at 05:40 PM

To top off the plethora of cool walks, races, and marathons that have been going on this fall I present the Monty Python Sillywalk at Universal Citywalk, California for a good comic twist.  In honor of Monty Python's 40th Year Anniversary, Jon Lovitz's Comedy Club in partnership with with MashCast.com sponsored the first ever Sillywalk for Hunger.

I would have liked to have seen more actual silly walking - instead of choreographed hip hop from the uber stylish young dancers.  The dance moves were sweeeeeet!

While about seven or eight hundred half danced, half walked down the Universal Citywalk to raise money for the Feeding America and the Global FoodBanking Network.

Ok, this guy is pretty silly:

Props to the old school:

Cute silly:

All in all, it was a fun event for a good cause.  Supposedly it will be the first of many, so start practicing your sillywalk for next year!

Yeah for silly walking! What a great idea. Do they have prizes for the silliest walk?
