Change Your School
Who knows what needs to change in our schools better than the students, teachers and staff? YouthNoise is partnering with schools, organizations, and young leaders to encourage students to lend their voices to California’s education reform movement in 2008. Starting November 1st, students will submit their stories about their educational experiences, be invited to offer solutions for the problems they name, and take action to change California’s school system for the better -- all through an online system at RightToLearnCA.org.
YouthNoise will provide financial, technological and creative support to the top ideas submitted by students, and we'll connect them with community-based organizations and mentors to help them execute their school improvement projects, on both local and statewide levels.
How You can Get Involved
Teachers and schools that partner with Right To Learn can help students in two ways: First, by helping them submit their stories online about the importance of and obstacles they face in getting an excellent education. Second, by helping students develop solutions and implement projects that improve their schools. Students have a unique and creative perspective. Let’s help them use it to improve the school system in California!
