How to File a Williams Complaint
By gilliebean (24, CA) NOISEmail gilliebean

If your school has any of these problems, you can fill out a complaint form under the Williams Settlement:

        a. a shortage of books or other instructional materials

        b. unsafe or unhealthy buildings

        c. underqualified teachers or teacher vacancies

Just download the Williams Complaint form, fill it out and give it to your principal. If it’s beyond the principal’s control, (s)he has to forward it on to school district officials. Your complaint can make them sit up and pay attention.

Need help? Contact the ACLU at 1-877-532-2533.

There’s a great brochure on this site too that we can also link to for students that want more info. There’s also an 800 number from the ACLU that helps students file complaints.
