Blogs at least twice a week about news, events and actions related to the selected Cause Channel
Drives community discussion about cause-related topics through the blog
Keeps in regular contact with the CitiJo Manager about the Cause Channel blog
Joins a 'Featured Blogger Leadership Team' call twice a month

What Are the Benefits of Being a Featured Blogger?

Fame, glory and exposure-- each featured blogger will have his/her photo and blog posts prominently featured on a Cause Channel (for example, the Animal Rights blogger will have a permanent blog section at the top of the Animal Rights Channel, similar to the "featured section" here)

global warming| lucindawrites

i have research global warming throughout the global map. the warming of the earth may or may not be normal but what is very real is the warming is causing permafrost to thaw which causes more carbon release in atmosphere. today scientists stated if industry stopped the earth temperature raise would stop but what would return the poles to frost zones. we would like to believe NASA can continue to control the temperatures thus allow us to live. if we can not see whales, fish, acid ocean, dying coral reefs, severe climate changes, world wide food shortage, failing economies, growing population, dates to visible danger twenty five years. the better we as people feel and the safer we are the more sedated to the real world issue. catastrophe will soon have a visible meaning and then everyone will be forced to face the issue. the world isn't ending humanity as we know it is. the government and the world saw the answer to cities drowning KATRINA was the silent answer. There is more to the issues than anyone one of us what answered. the time to start is now the place to start is at waste management. There are already technolgies that do not use anything else than electricity for appliances such as computers without hardware encasements. NO MORE CONSUMER GREED. THERE ARE ALREADY windmills, hydro power TESLA methods to generate electricity through the air without oil. WE HAVE KILLED EARTH. As any guilty party would the only thing the intelligentia of this planet does is deny, deny, deny.
