The Cause Caller tool lets you create a cause, add the names you want to contact--and then click to call those contacts right away. It's a VoIP application mixed with a wiki of causes and contacts. So not only can you send the link to everyone who needs to call--the calls are also made on the Internet and FREE to you. So no more excuses about how 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is long distance!

Here's how it works:  Once you have your page, your fellow activists can go to that page, read about the cause and see a sample script, and enter their phone number. When an activist submits her/his phone number, it generates an in-bound call to the activist's phone that connects the activist with the office of one of the elected officials from the list.

Say you decide you want to contact Senator Potter. You enter your phone number into the website and your phone rings. You pick up, press the star button, are you're connected to Senator Potter's office. If you need it, you have the script in front of you. Easy, right? And less daunting if you've got  phone jitters or whatever.
