How it Works!
1. Come up with a creative of a way to demonstrate how you have engaged in one or more of the weekly challenges.
2. Send proof of your participation through photos, videos or images of your unique art work or just a text email of explanation of your environmental action by using the GO GREEN SUBMISSION FORM. Non-photo or video submissions may be sent via email to green@youthnoise.org.
Photo Submissions
What file format for photos?
Your original photos and original art need to be submitted as a JPEG or GIF. Please submit your photos with a horizontal orientation.
What size photo images?
Your JPEG or GIF needs to be 600 pixels wide X 400 pixels high at 72 dpi resolution
May I submit an explanation with my image?
Yes, feel free to submit a brief (no more than 30 words) explaining the image, project or where you got your inspiration.
Color Limitations?
The sky's the limit! All colors are acceptable. Black and white is cool, too.
Video Submissions
What's acceptable?
- Two minutes maximum
- Video files must be formatted in MPG, MOV, FLV or WMV format
- Mobile phone video can be uploaded in its original, smaller dimensions
- All submissions must be original-only submit video you filmed yourself
- Inspire and entertain us with your creative approach to environmentalism
- Anything copyrighted -- any video taken by someone else
- Video containing nudity or graphic violence
- Video that may have put yourself or anyone else in danger
What criteria will be used to judge my work?
The YouthNoise judges will be looking for those submissions that are:
- Creative
- Inspirational
- Engaged the greatest number of people in their project
- Demonstrated greatest impact in terms of overall benefit to the environment
When is my entry due?
All entries must be submitted to YouthNoise by 11:59pm Monday, May 1st.

Prizes
Random Drawings
All participants are eligible to win a random drawing for one of eight $100 Timberland Gift Cards. At the end of the contest, there will be two random drawings fro each of the four environmental categories. These 8 winners will each earn a $100 Timberland Gift Card (totaling $800)
That's not all.
Environmental Challenge Winners
$800 "green ones" will be awarded to the submission that demonstrates the most creative idea and has the greatest impact within each of the rour environmental challenges!
Want more.?
Another $800 will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner selected from the Environmental Challenge winners for a contribution to the environmental charity of their choice.
May I submit more than one entry?
Yes, you are not limited in the number of entries you submit.
How will I know my entry has been accepted?
Look for your entry in the Go Green Showcase on the appropriate weekly challenge. If you don't see your entry after 48 hours, please email us at green@youthnoise.org.
Who is eligible to participate?
You must be between the ages of 13-26
You must be a registered member of YouthNoise (It's free and just takes a minute!)
You must follow all guidelines set forth in the RULES for this contest.
