Debate: Draft or no draft

There’s no doubt that having voluntary members of the armed forces is better than having drafted members. Soldiers who volunteer want to be in uniform and care about the causes they’re fighting for. Militaries made up of volunteers have higher morale and work ethic because they aspire to succeed, not just finish their tour. So should the government increase soldier stipends so that joining may remain voluntary, or should a draft be instigated?
