Make a plan
Determine how you will collect the items:
- Solicit friends and family
- Send out a flyer in your school/community asking for donations
- Set up booths and/or hand out flyers outside of community meetings or religious services asking for donations.
- Solicit local stores for donations
- Lots of price tags
- Calculator
- Cash box
- Change
- Bags for customers
Assign the following rolls:
- Collecting the items
- Pricing the items
- Advertising
- Selling the items the day of the event
- Taking the money to the charity
