Make a plan
Choose the theme and the product:
- Halloween -- pumpkins and Indian corn
- Christmas -- wreaths, wrapping paper, candy, Christmas trees
- Hanukkah -- wrapping paper, candy
- Valentine's Day -- cards, candy, flowers
- Mothers Day -- cards, flowers
- See if a local business will donate products
- Use a company specializing in selling items for fundraising
- Pro: no money up front
- Con: the company gets some of the profit
- Buy the product in bulk at a wholesale store
- Pro: you get all of the profit, and set your own deadlines
- Con: someone has to put up the money for the goods/products
- Order forms
- Set up booths at community and/or religious events
- At school
- Are you going to sell only one day?
- Are you going to sell for a week?
- What is the date(s)?
