Before You Start
Make a plan
What kind of dinner will you host -- all-you-can-eat or one serving only? Select a menu. This is important because different dishes require certain kinds of cookware. Decide where to host your dinner -- community centers, clubs, school cafeterias, and churches often have large kitchens, dining halls, and restrooms. Check out the kitchen -- do they have space to cook for a crowd? Can you use their pots, pans and dishes? Is there plenty of room for tables, so you can seat a lot of people? Does the facility have restrooms close to the place where people will eat?

TIP!
Be careful when choosing what kind of dinner and the menu you will serve -- all-you-can-eat can eat your profits! Stick to serving meals made with inexpensive ingredients like burritos, spaghetti, burgers or stir-fry, so you can raise more money. Supplies You'll Need
