What's it about? A recycled art animation by Carolina Fontenelle Mello-e-Souza, for the brazilian poem, "Leilao de Jardim" (Garden Auction), by Cecilia Meireles.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? In "From Garbage to Garden", my intent was to increase children's environmental awareness and inspire them to recycle, among other things. By exposing the variety of our disposable, trashable, packaging and turning it into something artistic, I hope to contribute to improving our Earth's health.
What's it about? This is the trailer of a documentary I made about a green city in Brazil that has overcome a lot of problems most cities are still trying to solve. My doc focuses on solutions in the areas of Transportation, Recycling, Affordable Housing, and Floodplains.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? I feel its my duty to show the world a place where solutions are a reality. Being from Brazil, an environmentalist, as well as a young filmmaker, I felt it was my duty to show that cities do not have to start fresh with solutions; they can look at a succesful model and adapt ideas to make a better place for all of us.
What's it about? We did this as a project for our Social Justice class. I got a message from someone saying I should enter it here, so, I did. We go to a catholic school, so that's why there's the underlying God message. Hopefully it'll be acceptable.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? Our video touches on many aspects of environmental issues. We showcase the problems with littering, chemical dumping, hunting, and deliver an overall positive message of caring for the enviornment.
What's it about? Thousands of people around the globe are joining the fight against global warming, so go ahead, take that number and join us in helping the world become a better place.
This video was originally made for my computer class in college using windows movie maker. Judge not by the quality, but by the message you are receiving.
Thanks!

How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? This video shows how I believe in making the world a better place. My dedication and drive to helping mother Earth shows my ever-lasting commitment.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? In this video, me (from Indonesia), and my 5 other friends from Indonesia, Thailand, and Srilanka, pointed out the basic reasons why we should save energy and what simple things we can do in our daily life to save the energy. And from this simple things, we can bring a huge impact to the environment as well as to the monthly bill we have to pay.
What's it about? A video made out of some pictures taken by my classmate Glenn.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? This is a third-world country approach to the issue. Saving our environment in simple ways is what we can do especially in poor countries. This video is not very informative, yet inspirational and heart-warming. Im just an ordinary 19 yr old boy that has the talent to create this simple video. By this, i can show the world how easy and important it is to help save our environment.
What's it about? This is a video starring my 7-year-old son and our yellow Beetle that runs on used vegetable oil. We used to buy gas twice a week, now we go once every few months.
How does your video demonstrate your commitment to the environment? I wanted to reduce my footprint by using alternative fuels, and chose used vegetable oil because it is widely available (free, actually) and is a much cleaner fuel than gasoline. While biofuels are getting lots of attention lately, there are very few choices actually available today for an individual. Our video shows how the car works and explores the larger possibilities.
