The DROP Regional Coordinator Interns
Yael Ramer, New York City, NY
Hi! My name is Yael
Ramer and I am one of the DROP Regional Coordinator interns for the DROP
Program. I am a graduate student,
studying environmental and food policy at The New School in New York City.
As a recent college graduate, I am excited to be involved in the
organization of this exciting event with Youth Noise. I have previously volunteered with a
community outreach club in which I delivered excess cafeteria food each week to
a homeless shelter, at the blood donor center at the American Red Cross, and
organized an after school program as well as a senior citizen computer class. I
have a deep concern for our environment, particularly our consumption of water,
and I have a profound respect for the world I live in. Above all, I do everything I can to ensure
that this planet will be extraordinary for generations to come. Contact me if you are interested in getting
involved in the DROP Program and our major event on November 15!

The DROP Bloggers
Cassie Glenn, Coral Gables, Florida
Hey guys, my name is Cassie and I'm so excited to get to play a role in the DROP Program and campaign. The water crisis our world is experiencing can go unnoticed as we live our day to day life and I want to keep people informed about what's going on and what we can do to help! I'm currently attending the University of Miami as a Broadcast Journalism and Spanish major with a minor in Meteorology which focuses on climate change and what is to come. Living near the ocean, it seems like our supply is endless but this unfortunately, isn't the case. I think our generation has extreme potential to change our world and find solutions to these problems, and I am excited to be a part of it!
I'm really excited to be getting more involved with Youthnoise because I'm excited to learn about issues that affect people. I think water issues are really important. We live in a really big world and still so many people can't get access to water, and even healthy people who get drinking water sometimes end up wasting it. Water is in our bodies and all around us. Water is vital for life. I'm excited to be a DROP blogger because I want to empower others to take action, while learning about water issues myself! I currently attend California State University, Fullerton. I'm majoring in journalism (even though I think geography and environmental science are way cool!). I'm excited to bring readers together on water issues that affect all of us.

Lauren Hauser, San Francisco, CA
Hey everyone. I'm Lauren, and I'm managing the DROP Program and campaign. I've been a passionate environmentalist ever since my dad use to take me to Earth Day, while naming all the types of trees on the way. My love for the out of doors, as well as environmental justice issues increased in college where I attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison (GO BADGERS). I studied Geography, Environmental Studies and Global Cultures. I have a strong passion for these issues, and water just fits right in there with them. I see the water crisis becoming one of the next big problems of our time and I believe we have to empower our generation to work on it, raise awareness about it, and of course, find solutions. I am looking forward to working with anyone who is interested in partnering, engaging in, or looking for more ways to get involved in YouthNoise and the DROP Program. Dont' forget our big event in New York City! If you live there, let's be friends :)
James Toney, San Francisco, CA
My activist career started in 2005 when I helped lead the national online outreach efforts at the Save Darfur Coalition. While in college, I founded ACTVST Global, Inc., a social enterprise focused on engaging students in social causes through creative initiatives in the arts. Through events and merchandise sales, ACTVST has helped provide thousands of people with clean water in Tanzania. Currently, I work at YouthNoise as the brand, marketing, and campaign strategy guru. For DROP, I'm organizing our fundraisers, and helping to develop the creative aspects. I grew up in Yorba Linda, CA and received my BA in Political Science and Non-Profit Management from Pepperdine.
Marina Budimir, San Francisco, CA
Hi, I'm Marina and I am the Biz Dev. intern at YouthNoise and I'm also working on outreach for the DROP campaign. I have always been passionate about education, international
affairs and human rights. The DROP campaign with water access and conservation at
its center speaks to my various interests: we have to stay educated about water
issues, it is a huge international problem as everyone is facing water
shortages, and access to clean drinking water is, in my opinion, a fundamental
human right. I am currently in the process of making my apartment leak free and
correcting my roommates' skewed impression that we have an unlimited amount of
drinking water. Our place already has a solid garbage disposal system and reducing water usage
is next. I am really proud to be part of the DROP campaign and can't wait to
get the show on the road!
