Josh Dick Photography

H2O Conserve

What he does:  After intimately working as a photographer within the commerical adverstising industry for the past five years, Josh's directive and ambition concerning his own work dramatically shifted.  What once was primarily an investigation of the formal qualities of photography, he has now grown into a much more direct, concise and photojournalistic effort to expose truth and promote awareness of the environment around us through photography.  He wants to create images that encourage viewers to think about themselves and their actions in relation to the rest of their communities and world.  Josh has chosen to explore avenues within the field of conservation photography, creating imagery that highlights the link between our planet's health and overall well being of human-kind.

We like him: Josh is a one man photography machine with his heart in the right place. He is working with us to expand his project's reach throughout the New York area. He is a well researched, intelligent person using his artistic abilities in the best way possible. Check out his work, and don't be afraid ask him questions and check out his project about the NYC Watershed. If you're lucky, you can meet him at the DROP Summit and Fundraiser!
