The death toll in Darfur is more than 400,000. In addition to those who were killed, 2,500,000 have been displaced, forced to flee their homes and survive as refugees. The United States has declared that the conflict in Darfur is the century's first genocide. We can't sit back and watch as hundreds of thousands of people are systematically murdered.

With the ICC's recent decision to issue the arrest warrant for President Al-Bashir, although he has been threatening to increase violence and cutoff humanitarian aid (which he has already started acting on), it becomes all the more urgent that we take a serious stand on this issue. With a point person acting on behalf of the US, it will show the international community our serious commitment to justice, and that we will not stand for genocide.
Let Obama know that YOU want our country to be serious about genocide!

Why I Support This Cause! Help
What can we do to actually help? Like actual community projects. Like supporting families of lost loved ones and things. How can we actually DO something?!
