The DROP Campaign will engage college and older high school students in a nationwide program designed to increase awareness about the consumption, conservation, and access issues related to water. We'll all be exploring water issues within our local communities as well as those that are affecting the international community, and to become involved with real-world projects that emerge from a series of regional water summits hosted by YouthNoise. NEW YORK CITY is our DROP event happening on Nov. 15th, 2008.

Why I Support This Cause!
A need to save water
I believe that there is a need to save water and an urgent need for students to see this necessity. Living inside the campus help me to see how most students neglect such importance. Almost a lot of them left the water tap running even when not using and imagine if that is happening inside the entire campus....how much water will be wasted just like this? I believe there is an urgent need to help the young people to see this importance

We take it for granted
I'm guilty of taking super long showers without thinking that some people don't even have access to clean drinking water! I think it's really important to get more people aware of this problem.

Water is Life
Did you know that a BILLION people don't have access to clean drinking water on this planet? That's beyond insane. Water access should be a human right given to every citizen of the world. This isn't a partisan issue, it shouldn't be about politics or borders or what country you live in; every person on the planet needs water.
