Not everybody has the chance or the money to go to the doctor or to the dentist to learn how to take care of yourself. There are people that don't know how to brush their teeth or what good nutrition is and it's something as simple as giving someone a toothbrush and showing them how to brush their teeth. We could change that by having health education programs and getting the word out.

Why I Support This Cause! CPR Training Saves Lives An elderly lady has a massive heart attack on the street... and is saved by the quick action of a bystander who performed CPR. It's an inspiring story - and one that emergency responders wish came true more often. In cases of cardiac arrest, simple training for average people can save the victim's life. Classes are available through the Red Cross and American Heart Association that train ordinary people to do CPR and use an AED. It's important that these classes are locally available and that people are informed about them so that lives can be saved.

Sure, it's something I hated to do as a teen, but having only 30 minutes of physical activity at school once a week? That's ridiculous. So many things down the road, from mental to physical wellness to even happiness and overall well-being, can be linked back to a proper education in health--or none at all.
