Why is it that a man who works hard all his life and has a family including 5 children and pays his taxes cannot have the kind of chemotherapy he needs to kill the active tumors in his brain because it is so expensive? People die every day in this country because they cannot afford health care, people who were born into poverty or have a drug addiction or like the aforementioned man, are just average citizens of the United States. Obviously, something is wrong.

Why I Support This Cause! Heathcare: Medicine not Money Heathcare should be about getting the person better, not if they have health insurance or not. It is an injustice that some people get to skip the queue just because they have more money.
by: rapn21 on 2007-12-17 09:05:581 Sorta This cause has to be hard to not support. Which I kinda do. I expect the government to provide health care to low income families and those who truly need help. High income families don't need free health care- they can pay for it. Families suffer because people are greedy. Children shoul dnot be provided health care by the government because they are the same as adults, to a point. Why should a child with cancer be given better care than a 21 year old is given?
