People of so called "different" orientations, should be able to recieve the same respect as everyone else. Gay marriage should be legal, adoption for same sex couples should be legalized as well. But of course these things will come along at some point. It is the respect from others that we all need. Being a part of the gay community, I have dealt with several homophobic people, and I know I am not the only one that has been in a situation like that. It is important that people of every orientation get the repect that they deserve. Please join the cause and spread the word!

Why I Support This Cause! My Opinion....
Just think about how hard it is to tell your family and friends that you're gay. It wasn't easy for me. I think that people need to stop using the harsh words that they use to describe gays and lesbians. People need to help gays get treated just like normal people.

I think it is very much true that gays, bisexuals, and lesbians need more respect. Imagine how much it takes for them to even "come out of the closet", it isn't easy. I know a few gays, lesbians, and bi's, and they're just the same as everyone else; they have feelings. Most people in my school have respect for them, because everyone in my school is pretty chill. But I know some are thinking in the back of their minds that it is wrong, but who are they to be saying anything at all? Everyone should be treated equally, PERIOD.

Its not right to discriminate against someone just b/c they're gay,bi,lesbian or anything. Nobody should ever feel like that. Why is it that ppl can get away w/murder but if your gay your going to hell?? I'm not gay or straight I guess you could say I'm inbetween. I know how it feels when someone close to you wont accept you b/c your "different" its a difficult thing to go through. I'm tired of gays feeling pushed around like outcasts, its not right. And ppl should be accepted no matter what and if the ppl we love really do love us then whats the big deal? Its time for Gays to stand up for what we believe in. Thats my cause.
