Take Action For This Cause
Why I Support This Cause! 
I am proud to say that I am a bisexual female who is spending the rest of her life in a lesbian relasionship. I have known my partner for almost 8 years and we have been together for almost 2. I would love to marry her someday so that we can have just some of the rights that a heterosexual couple has. It scares me to know that someday one of us could end up hospitalized and the other would not be able to enter the room beacause the doctor/nurse says that only family can see them. If we we're married we'de have this right.
Another thing that concerns me is the fact that church and state is suppose to be seperated, Many people that are strongly against gay marriages feel that way bacause of religious perposes. I am not refering the marriage under GOD. I am simply asking for civil unions.. I want to have the option of having my girlfriends insurence or visa versa.. I want to see my girlfriend when shes laying in a hospital bed scared and alone. But i cant..not unless changes are made. What ever happend to "all men and women are created equal".. It doesnt say "all men are created equal.. except Gays.. they don't count.." And what about "love thy naighbor" ,, for all you religious nuts out there.. I dont think God ment.."LOve thy neighbor.. Except for Gays... feel free to hate them and/or tell them they are going to hell....even though I (God) am the all powerfull one who decides these things.." Somehow this is just all so stupid to me..
I can't even hold my girlfriends hand at the movie theater like a straight couple. We live in constant fear that someone will hurt us for being Gay. I want to act like a straight couple.. I want to tell people I have a girlfriend and be proud of it. I dont like living in fear for our safty. Im hear to make a stand. I wont back down.. I wont stop fighting for equal rights.

In 1978, the United States Supreme Court declared marriage to be of fundamental importance to all individuals describing marriage as one of the basic civil rights of man and the most important relation in life, noting that the right to marry is part of the fundamental right to privacy in the U.S. Constitution.
why is this any different if your gay it makes no sense

You hear everywhere that love is supposed to conquer anything. So why does it have to stop at gender? If you are in love, then you should be able to take action. It is ridiculous that people should tell you that you need to be who you are, but put limits on exactly how far you're allowed to go. Gay marriage should be legal in all states, in my opinion; and anyone that disagrees should not be allowed to call themselves a true citizen of the US. Because that is not true freedom.
